Identification

Dark brown with narrow white barring on underside. Eyes are dark.
Distribution
Malaita (southern Solomon Islands)
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
One of four species formerly viewed as a single species, Solomons Boobook.
Habitat
Presumably forests, poorly known species.
Behaviour
Unknown.
