Distribution

Endemic to Upper Magdalena Valley in Colombia.

Taxonomy

Two subspecies recognized:

  • S. r. yariguiorum in northern Colombia (Serranía de los Yariguíes, Santander)
  • S. r. rodriguezi in Upper Magdalena Valley, Colombia

Described in 2005.

Habitat

Moist forest with dense understory.
