Cotinga amabilis

Identification

Distribution

Central America: found in the Gulf lowlands of southern Mexico (Veracruz), Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua and through to south-eastern Costa Rica.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

They may be seen flitting about in the higher treetops of the tropical lowland rainforest, from sea level to 1000 feet.
