Distribution
Asia: found in Mountains of Java.
Taxonomy
Philippine Shortwing, Bornean Shortwing, Sumatran Shortwing, Javan Shortwing and Flores Shortwing were formerly lumped together under the name of White-browed Shortwing.
Subspecies
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Mountain areas, broadleaf and mixed forests.
Behaviour
Diet
The diet includes insects, larvae, berries, seeds, sprouts and buds.
Breeding
The moss and grass nest is placed in dense shrubs.
