Distribution

East-central Colombia to southern Venezuela and extreme north-western Amazonian Brazil

Taxonomy

Monotypic.

Habitat

Rainforest borders and secondary woodland often near water or marshes.

Behaviour

Diet

It gleans for insects in foliage and often picks its prey from the underside of leaves.

Breeding

They are monogamous. Both adults share the incubation of the 2 eggs and subsequent care of the young.
