Honduran Emerald - BirdForum Opus

Identification

Upperparts are deep emerald green and the upper tail-coverts and tail are more bronzy with a blackish subterminal band on the outer rectrices.

Distribution

Endemic to Honduras.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species, which is sometimes placed in genus Polyerata.

Habitat

Arid thorn forest and scrub.
