Identification
85–92 cm (33½-36¼in); female is smaller than the male
- Large bluish-grey Casque on forehead
- Red bill
- White-tipped tail feathers
- Greenish glossed mantle and breast feathers

Distribution
South America: found in the eastern Andes of Venezuela and Colombia.

Habitat
They are to be found on steep slopes of dense, wet cloud forests.
Behaviour
Diet
They forage on the ground for seeds and fallen fruit. They also eat succulent leaves, grass and buds.
Breeding
The clutch consists of two cream-coloured eggs, which are incubated by the female for about 30 days.
