- Bright green forehead
- Long straight bill
Female is similar but paler overall with little or no bright feathering on the forehead.

Habitat
Humid and wet montane forests, particularly with epiphytes.
Behaviour
Diet
Their main diet is nectar. They feed by the trap-lining method.
