Found on Flores and Sumbawa in the Lesser Sundas, Indonesia.

Two subspecies recognized[1]:
- D. a. sumbawense on Sumbawa
- D. a. annae on Flores
Habitat
Cultivated areas, deciduous woodland and forests.
Behaviour
Diet
Not well recorded, but appears to be nectar, fruit and pollen.
