Fire-breasted Flowerpecker formerly included Cambodian Flowerpecker, Fire-throated Flowerpecker, and Sumatran Flowerpecker.

- Northern Philippines (montane forests of northern Luzon)
- D. l. bonga:
- Central Philippines (Samar Island)

- Mountains of southern Philippines (Negros and Mindanao)
