Distribution
Southern Uruguay and northern Argentina.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Lowland grassland, seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, and coastal saline lagoons.
Behaviour
Voice is unknown.
