Identification
Very similar to Mouse-colored Tapaculo. Differs mainly in vocalisation.
Distribution
Brazil. Endemic to the Chapada Diamantina, Bahia
Chapada Diamantina region of northeastern Brazil (Bahia)
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Described as recently as 2007.
Habitat
Seems to prefer elevations from 850-1600, strictly in forest.
