• Slight crest

Distribution

South America: found only in Colombia and Venezuela.

Taxonomy

Subspecies

There are 2 subspecies^[1]

• C. s. fuscivertex:

• Sierra de Perij  (Colombia/Venezuela border)

• C. s. subcristata:

• Eastern Andes of Colombia and mountains of northern Venezuela

Habitat

Montane and tropical lowland evergreen forests.

Behaviour

Diet

Their main diet consists of arthropods.
