Identification
18–18·5 cm
- Black crown with a raised crest
- Grey to white underparts
- White or whitish rump
Similar Species
Similar to a Myiarchus flycatcher in shape.
Distribution
Central and South America:
Found in Panama, north-western Colombia and north-western Ecuador.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species.
Used to be included in Sirystes.
Habitat
Jungle lowlands, riparian woodland. Usually found in the canopy.

Their diet consists of large insects and fruit
