Genus: Xiphirhynchus

Description

This genus would contain just one species, the Slender-billed Scimitar Babbler from SE Asia. It differs from the other Scimitar Babblers by its much longer, much slenderer and still more curved bill.

Taxonomy

Xiphirhynchus would be a genus in the Family Timaliidae.
It is now usually included in the genus Pomatorhinus.
