Genus: Oedistoma
Description
Two species of Longbills from New Guinea.
Both have a decurved bill, dull olive plumage, are very small and apparently lack a territorial song.
Taxonomy
Oedistoma is a monotypic genus in the Family Melanocharitidae.
Both species were formerly placed in within the Honeyeaters in the family Meliphagidae and are sometimes included in the genus Toxorhamphus.
