Taxonomy
Anurolimnas is a genus in the family Rallidae.
Russet-crowned Crake and Black-banded Crake were formerly included here but are now in Rufirallus.
Different authorities place the remaining species here, in Laterallus or in Porzana. The opus awaits clarity before making changes.
