Distribution
South America: northern Colombia and north-western Venezuela.
Taxonomy
Caribbean Hornero and Pacific Hornero were formerly included in Pale-legged Hornero.
Subspecies
Clements recognizes these subspecies[1]:
- F. l. longirostris: arid coastal northern Colombia and northwest Venezuela
- F. l. endoecus: northern Colombia (Magdalena Valley) and western Venezuela (southern Zulia)
