Distribution

Endemic to the Canary Islands.

Taxonomy

Subspecies[1]

Two subspecies accepted:

Has been considered conspecific with Common Chiffchaff in the past.

Habitat

Pinewoods, parks and gardens.

Behaviour

Vocalisation

Song: generally confined to chiff.
