Similar Species

Tenerife Blue Chaffinch and Gran Canaria Blue Chaffinch.

Distribution

Endemic to several of the Canary Islands, where it is a resident species.

Taxonomy

Common Chaffinch formerly included African Chaffinch, Azores Chaffinch, Madeira Chaffinch and Canary Islands Chaffinch.
