Distribution
Philippines, endemic to Bohol Island.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species.
It was formerly considered conspecific with Metallic-winged Sunbird.
Habitat
Mid-altitude mountain forest up to 1500 m and sometimes higher.
Behaviour
Diet
They forage singly and in pairs. However, no information is available on their actual diet.
Breeding
The nest is attached to a fern frond. Little other information is available.
