  • Greyish-yellow bill
  • Light blue head and nape, extending into breast
  • Greener lower breast and belly
  • Yellow vent
  • Green upperparts
  • Racquet tail extensions
  • Yellow iris


South Philippines (Balabac, Palawan, Calamian and adjacent islands)


This is a monotypic species[1].


Lowland forest and forest edges, adjacent cultivated land; bamboo scrublands, mangroves, grassland with scattered trees.



There is very little information. It is believed they eat some nuts.
