Distribution

Western slope of Western Andes of Colombia (Chocó) and north-western Ecuador

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Mossy cloud forest, forest edges in the foothills.

Diet

Their main diet consists of fruit and berries.
