Southeast Asia: found in Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.

Habitat
Temperate and moist deciduous forest up to 900m.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of termites, ants and invertebrates.
They forage in noisy groups of 2-6 birds and sometimes joined with jays.
Breeding
There is little information available. They nest in a tree hole and lay 2-3 eggs.
