Male Nominate
- Greenish-black upperparts
- Grey centre back
- Whitish rump and upper tail-coverts
Distribution
South-east Asia: endemic to the Philippines.
Taxonomy
Subspecies
There are 2 subspecies[1]:
- L. m. melanoleuca:
- Northern Philippines (Luzon and Mindoro)
- L. m. minor:
- Southern Philippines (Samar, Leyte and Mindanao)
Habitat
Canopy of forests and forest edge in the lowlands below 1000 m.
Behaviour
Diet
There is little available information on their diet, but they probably eat insects.
