A motorway service area on the M74 at Johnstonebridge. In the Cheviot Hills, there is a small loch at the back of the service area with footpaths.

Notable Species

The water near the hotel complex has mostly 'tame' Mallard and Mute Swan. Following the footpath, though, there is a rather wilder area which in the summer holds species such as Sedge Warbler.

An Osprey may be seen fishing there too.
