Identification

36–41 cm

  • Silver-grey head and neck
  • Grey (with greenish gloss) on upper mantle
  • Pale grey breast
  • Black upperparts

Distribution

Asia: found in the Andaman Islands and Nicobar Islands, India.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Dense forest and forest edges.

Behaviour

Diet

The diet includes fruit, particularly figs, also berries.
