Distribution
Mountains of central Asia to Afghanistan, southern Tibet and north-western India
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Stony highland meadows and rocky hillsides in the summer.
Behaviour
Diet
In the summer their diet consists mostly of insects. Seeds and berries are taken in the winter.
Breeding
There is little information. It is thought they have two broods each year.
