Identification

12 cm

  • Olivace-green upperparts
  • Whitish underparts
  • Dark green flanks
  • pale yellowish lower belly
  • Whitish supercilium and area below eye extending onto ear-coverts
  • Dusky eye-stripe and loral area
  • Two pale yellowish wing-bars and fringing
  • Dusky wings and tail.

Distribution

Highlands of north-eastern Brazil (Alagoas)

Taxonomy

Monotypic.

Habitat

Tropical lowland evergreen forest on hills and lower slopes between 500m and 800m.

Behaviour

The diet includes small insects taken from the surface of leaves and branches.
