opticron country mc 10x42 new user help? (1 Viewer)

Hi, I have purchased opticron country mc 10x42 bins to start my birding career. But I'm now thinking is 3.7m nearest focus for the 10x42 opticron going to be suitable for watching birds at the back of my small garden 4m from the house. Am I applying the right logic here? some help welcome, thanks, macthefork.

ps.these are my first ever! bins and will be used out of doors also.

I'd have thought so. At that distance you hardly need binoculars, I suppose. Some expensive bins do focus closer - down to six feet at the best, but yours are fairly typical and a very good pair for the cost, I should think.
