A short walk after work this afternoon produced a new bird for the year.

Then another new bird in the yard this evening.

One new bird this morning.

331. Least Sandpiper

Also, not a year bird (since I saw several in Paraguay last month), but a state lifer in the form of a Snowy Egret found this morning in a nearby county.

Dave

A great day, adding six birds to the Year List.

332. Chestnut-sided Warbler
333. Pine Siskin
334. Barred Owl
335. Great Crested Flycatcher
336. Virginia Rail
337. Nashville Warbler

With the exception of the Chestnut-sided Warbler and the flycatcher, the rest of the birds are fairly difficult to see and are birds I could easily miss in a year.

Despite high expectations for the day, I only managed to find two new birds for the year. Intermittent showers didn’t help.

338. Blackpoll Warbler
339. Cape May Warbler
