I am a bit stumped on this one . Maybe Platycheirus sp.
I looked through Ball & Morris and struggled to find one with such narrow yellow bands. There is also the dark area that strays down the side of the abdomen. I can't seem to find a female like this. The abdomen of P. Albimanus seems to be pale on the side with no dark marking bleeding downwards. If that makes sense.
