Blown away by old 7x35 10.1 field (1 Viewer)

I just picked up this pair of Japanese C. F Suprema 7x35 with 10.1 field for $15 second hand.

I can't find any info on them online but I figured that they might be similar to some of the more renowned wide field 7x35's of yesteryear. For $15 I could at least give them a try and so I had them sent to me.

They are fairly clean and they look great after a little more cleaning. Only flaw is a 1mm light scratch on the top of the right eye piece. I haven't tried these in darker environments yet but my first impression is that these are very good!

I haven't measured the field but I don't doubt the stated 10.1 field that is specified on them. Much wider than my 8x30 Habicht's that's for sure. The image is very crisp and sharp almost out to the edge. Better edge sharpness than the Habict in fact.
Focus wheel moves smooth but a little slowly due to the type of grease used, again, much like the Habicht. It's not bad it's just that they are not fast focusing bins, as might be expected.

Eye pieces are 24mm diameter and offer a nice and relaxed view.

What's not so nice is that the colimation is off. This is not obvious when looking through them but once I remove them from my eyes I feel my vision is doing some readjusting for a second before I can see straight again.

Is it a bad idea to disassemble these to clean the insides and try a home cooked re-colimation? There's no fungus on the lenses but I can see something suspicious on the inside of the barrel when looking through the objective lenses so a little cleaning would not hurt. All suggestions on this is greatly appreciated.
