I have a bird captured on my security cam and haven't been able to identify it. I would love any help or suggestions.

Welcome to Birdforum.

If you give your location and when the photo was taken, it could help.

I think Carolina Wren--as Andrew suggested--is likely correct. I can't think of another North American bird with a barred tail, a barred vent, barred secondaries, and a white superc separating dark feathers. If correct, this means that the colors of the bird are not shown accurately or the bird has some pigment challenges.

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. And I agree with the others on this being a Carolina Wren.

Hi Flying Noodle and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
