    Slimbridge WWT- why the wildfowl collections?

    Since moving to the Southwest of the UK I've been to slimbridge a couple of times. There's some great work being/been done there, that much is clear, and the conservation potential of the site is clearly a great thing for the severn Estuary. However, every time I go I'm left with a sour taste...
