    Been to Spurn a few times over last couple of weeks,can not believe the YWT are ripping up bushes and habitat during the breading season what complete tools.Think people will get a shock at the destruction they are causing in the name of profit. RANT OVER.

    Last confirm record is from Flamborough on the 30th of July 1981,there's also a record of a bird at Wheldrake in October 1994.

    Already voiced my objections,apparently the guy in charge of YWT is an ex banker or the like and doesn't care what a few birders think it's all about how much they can make.Might have to cancel my membership to the YWT if it goes ahead.

    Yes I had the same problem, not sure what to say myself yet. Also not sure if you are aware that YWT propose to build a new visitor centre around the canal scrape area destroying some of the scrub and bushes in the process great eh!!
