Any "compact scopes" that you like?

Nice to see more people believing in Christ being our Lord. God bless you Chuck. I vote for the ATC 56, although the STC 56 would be nice too. I have the ATC 56 and even like to use it without a tripod.

Case for 32 nl pure with head rest

The case that came with the EL 32 and SLC 42 is a perfect fit for the NL 32, with or without the headrest. Unfortunately it is hard to find one lately.

    Choosing pocket binoculars

Why did you go for Mountain instead of Wild Nature? The strap? The colours? The case?

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

I don't think that is true. The AFOV of the SF 10x32 is larger than the AFOV of NL 8x32. The NL 8x32 doesn't really shine with is AFOV compared with all the other NL's.

    Choosing pocket binoculars

Is there a reason why you went with Mountain? I didn't really like the strap coming with the Wild Nature. I think a cord/string is more comfortable. I want to add the CL 10x25 one day and am now considering Mountain as well.

Very light* setup (binoculars + scope)

Yes, I have the same experience. I have three children now (the youngest still a baby) and like being outside with them, like walking, cycling (which we do a lot in pancake Netherlands) or just in the garden. That's why I love the compacts a lot and just got this lovely Curio 7x21. I prefer...

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

Why not the other way around? So NL 10x32 and SF 8x32. FOV NL 10x32 > FOV SF 10x32 and FOV SF 8x32 > FOV NL 8x32. Or did it just happen to be this way?

10x32 EL SV or 10x42 SLC

Both very nice! The 10x32 has 120mm FOV, the 10x42 110m. The 10x42 a bit better in difficult light (less glare as well.) The 10x32 lighter and just a bit nicer colours during the day, imo.

Curio 7x21 vs. CL 8x25 pocket

I like them both, but I have decided to just keep the Curio 7x21. The strap is just a little too short for my liking, because I like to wear binoculars bandolier style. Does anybody have a good idea? Longer ones (preferable detachable like those of the trinovids) for sale anywhere?

Curio 7x21 vs. CL 8x25 pocket

It's in both directions. Smooth, but just a little bit dryer than the one of the CL 25. But then, the one of the CL 25 is very fluid, almost spongy. They both have really nice focusers.

Having 2 pairs of binoculars. Which would you choose?

The swarovski scope ATC 17-40x56. Having just one: NL 10x32 Having two: NL 10x32 + SLC 8x42 Having three: NL 10x32 + SLC 8x42 + Curio 7x21 Having four: add the EL 12x50 All 4 powers and all needs (for me) covered. And of course a scope. No need for a bigger one.

Curio 7x21 vs. CL 8x25 pocket

I still love them both very much... don't know which one I will keep. The bigger size of the CL 8x25 is slightly more comfortable for me. Keeping both doesn't really make sense. Maybe I well keep the Curio and later add the CL 10x25...

Curio 7x21 vs. CL 8x25 pocket

The covers of the Leica uhv 8x20 fit perfectly on the Curio...

Curio 7x21 vs. CL 8x25 pocket

Do you have a picture of it? I do think the Curio is more vulnerable than the CL 25 because of this painted metal. Is it silver colour underneath the black paint?

Curio 7x21 vs. CL 8x25 pocket

In my case the focuser of the CL 8x25 is better, smoother. The focuser of the Curio is dryer and has just a bit more friction.
