Identification
Black throat with faint wavy white bars, rufous barred black upper and lower parts.
Distribution
Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
Taxonomy
Closely related to Black-throated Antshrike.
Subspecies[1]
There are 4 subspecies:
- F. u. unduligera:
- North-western Amazonian Brazil on upper Rio Negro
- F. u. fulva:
- F. u. diversa:
- F. u. pallida:
- South-western Amazonian Brazil south of the Amazon; northern Bolivia (?)
Habitat
Moist lowland forests.
