Identification

22 cm
Male

  • Face black continuing to lower breast
  • Black primaries and outer tail feathers
  • Rest of plumage pale grey

Female mostly pale grey

Distribution

Philippines.

Taxonomy

There are 5 subspecies.

Habitat

Canopy and middle storey of moist lowland forests and montanes, below 1,000 m.
