Identification
14.5 cm, Long bill, dusky legs, slate gray above, pale gray below, black wing coverts with 2 rows of small white dots, brown primaries. Female - gray head, brown back, dark brown wings with 3 rows of buff spots, buff throat, orange rufous underparts.
Distribution
Western Amazonian Brazil (east to the Madeira River), southeastern [[Peru}} (eastern Madre de Dios), and extreme northern Bolivia (Pando).
Taxonomy
Split from Spot-winged Antbird.
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Moist lowland forests, with a marked preference for Moriche palm swamps in parts of its range.
