Kaikoura

Overview

South Island, New Zealand. Nearby Kaikoura are very high mountains (over 2.500 m). The water is also very deep. Is ideal place for lots of fish and ideal place for Sperm Whales.

Notable Species

Because lots of fish is also an ideal place for seabirds. The most spectacular place which I saw. e.g. Salvin's Mollymawk, Gibson's Wandering Albatross, Antipodean Wandering Albatross, Northern Royal Albatross, Southern Royal Albatross, Brown Skua, Giant Petrels

Other Wildlife

Because lots of fish is a breeding place for Dolphin (groups of up to 400).
