Identification

10cm. Bright green upperparts, white streaked underparts and thin, dark eye stripe.

Distribution

Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.


Taxonomy

Habitat

Moist lowland forests and montanes.

Behaviour

The diet includes berries of mistletoes, figs, nectar, and insects.

Both sexes build a well-hidden nest. 2-3 white eggs are laid April–August and are incubated by both parents.
