Where have all my birds gone? (2 Viewers)

I’ve only seen 1 bird in the last couple days in Eastern NC. I usually have quite a few cardinals and other birds. I’ve never experienced this before. I did see an otter in my backyard a couple days ago but no hawks. I have plenty of food and water but they are gone😩

Hi Birdybirdy and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. It does sometimes happen at this time of year if there's a good amount of autumnal fruits and seeds to forage for in the countryside. It's almost certain that, when the harder weather comes, they'll be back to see you. Meantime it's a good opportunity to get the feeders down and cleaned and to have a general clear up.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
