What grass seeds is safe and non-toxic for birds? (1 Viewer)

I need grass to grow near the bird feeder station but it needs to be safe. Thanks.

Rather than actual seed, why not put sections of grass pods under the feeders. Of course it will need to be watered frequently until its rooted in the ground.

When we reseeded a patch of our lawn we noticed that some of the seeds were eaten by birds. It didn’t harm them.
