Sunday Bird Walk, September 29, 2002 Hemer Provincial Park, Cedar.

Weather: Mostly cloudy, calm winds, about 10ºC.

Observers: Sunday birders (seventeen of us, including two newcomers)

Number of Species: 38

Highlights: Two male Hooded Mergansers courting two females--dancing on the water and bobbing their heads up and down. The big surprise was a lone female Surf Scoter on Holden Lake.
