Question RE: Snow Buntings (1 Viewer)

Bananafishbones

Incoherently Rambling .....
United Kingdom
Can anyone confirm if the 3 Snow Buntings are at Kinmell bay?

If so Where should I be parking and where can they be located?

Will be making the trip tomorrow pm (Friday 12th)

Regards
Dave

Seen them twice this year out 2 attempts this year. Sorry only just seen this thread. If you go again park near Asda, head eastwards along beach checking along the way, often can be seen in front of caravan park.

Plus you tried. It's not all on a plate, and you may have bumped into something else ... good luck fo the next time. ;)

Agreed, could have stayed in and watched deal or no deal and ended up with 4 walls and a headache, instead got some sand in my boots and a bit of fresh sea air :t:

and a few Skylarks and Pied wags :t:

Cheers

Parked at the bottom carpark and walked both ways. To be fair there were plenty of dogs about chasing sticks being thown for them so maybe just caught the wrong hour

Spent two hours on Saturday morning - without success on the bunting front. But it was very busy and there were lots of dog walkers, didn't affect the skylarks though. Ringed plover and flocks of sanderlings added to the year list count.
