Attempting to put Melksham on the map
Hi,

I know this is a long shot but one of you well travelled birders may know.
I am off to the DR in Nov. As it's a family holiday I will be spending my time birding around the resort complex. However I do have leave of absence for one whole day! and have arranged to hike up Mt. Isabel de Torres near Puerto Plata.
Has anyone been to this site? I know it's botanical gardens and cable car ride are a tourist attraction.I could do with some idea as to what birds might be seen. I'm up to speed on what to expect around the complex but not too sure what might be found at higher levels.
Any thoughts would be gratefully received!

Many thanks :t:
