Lizard, Miami Beach (1 Viewer)

I saw this on South Beach. It appears to fit the description of an Agama (if so, which species), but I understood those were only found in Africa?

All help would be much appreciated.

Peters agama. There are some agama outside Africa naturally but Florida has tons of exotic reptiles living free
