Where abouts is your garden? Just the village or whatever is fine, I don't intend coming looking for the bird, just want to be able to pass the record on accurately.

Sorry to be a nuisance but which Welton? And am I right in thinking yesterday and today? The Lincolnshire Bird Club are trying to tell me this will be a bird seen at Welbourne on April 18th but I guess that is a different one.

This bird was photographed in Welton, Lincolnshire on Saturday 1st May 2021

The camera was a Canon 700D with a 55 - 250mm zoom lens (the cheaper variety). The big plus was that it was only about 16 feet from me at its closest. Makes life easy at that range. Highly unlikely to get that lucky ever again.
