Haze in body prism (1 Viewer)

Hi, Hoping someone can give me a bit more info on the aboce title. I'm thinking about upgrading my ES80EDv3 to an HR80 ED & found one but the seller said it has light haze in the body prism & he said it still produces an unaffected image so i'm just trying to find a bit more out about the issue.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Paul

Haze will lead to fungus.

Avoid this scope and buy a good one, preferably by personal inspection or from a good shop.

B.

Thanks for the quick reply chap & thanks for the heads up! I thought this would be the case. It's actually a well known shop in the UK selling it!

Sorry, I don't know.

I have several Opticron eyepieces but not that one.
Or possibly on some small Opticron scopes, but not the scope mentioned.

Someone here will know or ask Opticron.

Regards,
B
